All Lido swimsuits are made to be washing machine friendly, so you’re safe washing your swimming costumes in a gentle cycle up to a temperature of 30 degrees. Regular washing and a thorough rinse will actually increase the lifespan of your swimsuit, so a proper wash is always good care etiquette to ensure you get the most from your swimwear.

Air drying flat is optimal, resist quick fixes and remember patience is a virtue.

Small contained stains, from common culprits like sun cream, oily foods, and pens can be targeted using a simple dish soap. Apply a small amount to the affected area and rub gently between your fingers. If necessary use a gentle sponge or the corner of a soft towel, for stubborn stains simply rinse and repeat. Perhaps it goes without saying but we’ll say it anyway: never reach for the bleach.

Direct or high heat is a no go for ensuring your swimsuit has a long and healthy life as it will ruin the integrity of the fabric over time, so make sure to avoid excess heat at all costs. That means no ironing and absolutely no tumble drying. As a rule, keep it cool.
